Hello. It's been some time (almost forty years I guess). I believe you've
been in touch with my brother Dave, I've been out of touch with the world of
e-mail for most of the summer.
I retired from a 30 year career in sales & marketing, most of it with Eastman
Kodak (27 years) about seven years ago. Since then I've been working as a
yacht captain, both teamed with my wife Gail and when she gets tired of the
game, working on my own.
I'm currently commanding a 94' private yacht for a Richmond, VA land
developer and just returned back to Florida this week after a summer cruise
to New England.
Gail and I live in Fort Lauderdale at 6100 NE 19th Ave. 33308 Tel # (954)
489-2305 and my Cell is (561) 309-6523. Our company is called Correct Yacht
Services, Inc.. Through the company we provide operation and maintenance
services to the private yacht community.
I expect to add another Captain to the team soon, our youngest brother Chip
just got his 100 ton Master's license and will be joining me before the year
ends.
Our Mom passed away last Labor Day weekend at their home in Yarmouth, ME.
Dad moved here to Fort Lauderdale in the spring and on the 4th of July took a
new bride, (not bad for an 84 year old).
Our middle brother Rick, Class of '64 (I think), is also living here in Fort
Lauderdale after retiring from a 35 year career with United Air Lines. He's
just completed his certification as a multiengine instrument rated pilot and
single engine flight instructor.
Now if we can just persuade Dave to move here we'll have the whole Wright
Clan in sunny Florida.
Well, I brought you up to date, please feel free to share this with our
classmates.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the 40th. I'll be just back from
vacation and will be overseeing yard repairs to the yacht, in preparation for
the winter cruising season in the Bahamas and maybe the Caribbean.
Please give my best to everyone and have a WONDERFUL TIME. I'll be thinking
of you all!!!
Best to you and your family
Don Wright
