Update Aug. 16, 2011
Added a note from Phil Renaud and a new address for Gail Beturney Prentiss
Andy has been stirring up the pot again trying to get the 50th Reunion going and needs your help…
Added a page from Lynne Richter Stogdale (Go There)

In order for there to be a new photo for this page, we, The Grand, Glorious and Totally Incredible (and by now mostly Retired) ARHS Class of '62, need to gather sometime in 2012 to have it taken. I know it's a LOT of work but if a bunch of us pitch in and spread the work around we can get it done. The effort will be worth it.
E-mail and call the folks you have kept in touch with and encourage them to spread the word.
I'll be glad to put info on this page or add a page for the reunion.
Art Dimock, Andy Horton and Julie Rowell Opper have responded enthusiastically so the mischief has begun. Expect to hear from us soon, or better yet reach out and contact us.
Dave:
I just happened to be surfing web sites in Amherst and noticed that you were collecting information on ARHS Class of 62 alumni. It doesn't seem like 50 years have gone by.
After graduating from ARHS I attended UMass - Amherst, spent 12 years in the USAF where I got my Masters Degree in Astronautical Engineer (yes I'm a real rocket scientist) and attended the USAF Test Pilot School. After the USAF I went to work for a series of defense contractors providing engineering support for spacecraft, and various missile defense activities. I started my own company in Albuquerque, NM where we developed a very advanced imaging system to take pictures of the earth for environmental and defense related activities. We eventually were successful in placing one of our systems in orbit on the USAF's MightySat II spacecraft. In 2001 I joined Raytheon Missile Systems in Tucson, AZ where I'm currently responsible for capturing new business in former Warsaw Pact countries. My work involves a fair amount of international travel, most recently to Poland, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the UK. I'm having too much fun to retire and will probably keep working another 3 or 4 years.
My hobbies include cars, flying (both general aviation and radio control model airplanes) and fly fishing. I'm an avid radio control model airplane competitor and have competed in numerous national and international contests and have been a member of two US Radio Control Soaring teams to compete at the World Cahmpionship level. In addition I recently bought a Porsche (my dad would kill me if he only new that his son was driving anything other than a Chrysler product) and am learning to race the car competitively.
Thanks for putting together the web site.

I talked to Ken and he will be designing a new T-Shirt for the 50th Reunion. We will have more information here on this page and the home page as soon as it the plans congeal. We'll also make it available on the Shameless Commerce page, 1- when it is really available and 2- I have created the page.
Ken and Lisa are fine, still living in New York city, have a look at his sites http://www.hoopla.org/KenBrown/index.html and http://www.kenbrownpixpop.com/ for a glance into the wonderful world that lives in Ken's imagimation.

The work on a new look for the site is going VERY slowly. I'm finding Joomla to be a bit of a challenge. If there is anyone out there that can give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated. I got lots of content and ideas of how it should be presented but am having problems getting it to happen.
HELP

I've been a bit lazy with the site over the last year, however;
OK so I've been a lot lazy but have retired from wage work and am doing projects that interest me as SweetBriar Design. The project Woody and I did was completed after Woody died though it took me a long time to write the final paper. His passing affected me a lot more than I had expected it to. I am working on a new design for this site using Joomla so I have to get a handle on Joomla first. My friends that do web design tell me it's a snap to learn but my ageing synapses are complaining bitterly. As a result of their grumbling the process is taking a lot of time hence this update is being done in good old Word. Not flashy but it works and I know how to use it.
Dave Wright April 11, 2010 (My how time flies.)
Bev Singer (Snape) did the original design and without that immence help this whole thing would not have happened.
Thanks Bev.
Your contributions are eagerly encouraged.
